Learn to Scrapbook Mother’s Day Memories — Imagine Blog

by Lori Warren Scrapbooking is a great way to craft and upcycle your memory keeping. The last memory I wanted to save is of Mother’s Day, so I decided to create this keepsake using a vintage book cover, walnut ink, and Fireworks Shimmery Sprays. It’s not your traditional scrapbook page, but is a great piece […]

How to make a textured, rustic sign with TCW Stencils

Hello all,

I am over on the The Crafter’s Workshop Blog today with a Home Decor piece featuring the “Coffee Bar” Home Decor stencil.  Lately, I have been inspired by photos of rusty old cars, trucks, and metal pieces.  All of the lovely layers of paint, rust and texture on these old, decrepit items are so cool!  The Coffee Bar sign below is my interpretation of this beautiful rustic color and texture.

New Challenge Blog

Hello all,

I have reactivated my old blog (Lori’s Cards & Creations) and set it up as a Challenge Blog to help promote the use of digital images.  Of course, digital images from the “Lori’s Cards & Creations” online store will be driving the weekly challenges.  However, all can participate because any digital image can be used for entry.  Yahoo!  There is an added prize (for the randomly selected winner) if the project entered was made with images from Lori’s Cards & Creations.  How fun is that?!?

A Mixed Media Journey

Hello all,

While I was out searching for treasures at my favorite antique shops and second hand stores, I found a really cool vintage car (home decor piece) done in metal.  I grabbed it up right away with thoughts of a Mixed Media canvas bouncing around in my head.  I was so excited however, it took me several weeks to fit this project into my schedule.  So much mixed media, so little time!  lol

Anyhow, just wanted to share this project with you today.  I am planning on framing this 14″ x 18″ piece once I find the perfect frame.

I love how it turned out and I hope you do too!
